Vintage Wallpaper Gone Wrong

I made this for @MamaRhi in the bookmark swap. Vintage wallpaper gone wrong was one of her themes and I was so intrigued!

I felt like if the wallpaper was underwater with the octopus, that would indicate an issue for the wallpaper.

If the octopus was out of the water hanging out in someone’s wallpaper, I’m assuming that would be an issue for the octopus.

This was an unusual bookmark construction for me. It involved a piece of actual wallpaper, a hand drawn octopus and several fiddly bits of card stock. Oh, and a random stray hair that decided to make its way unnoticed onto the laminate before I ran it through the laminator. :woman_shrugging:
