Watercolor notecards

I made a bunch of watercolor notecards for the sunshine and rainbows swap. This was fun because I always feel really self conscious about any painting I do. It seems too “real art” for me. This is silly and I’m trying to get over it, so this was a nice opportunity to play around.

I started by making a sun stamp and a couple faces, then stamping a sun in each corner, some with faces, some without. Then I added watercolors, some from my head, some from Google inspirations. A few also got the mica watercolors that I was gifted but am never sure what to do with.

I think the robot is my favorite.

I’m glad you posted them here! My pictures didn’t really do them justice at all. I love how they each have a sun to make them go together as a set.

These are so cute! I love that they are all clearly themed and yet so unique.

They’re all so cute and I love the variety!

That robot is so dang cute! I love the feeling of motion/action and that it’s not a straight on perspective. Love it!
