I was very lucky to get a set of 6 new coordinating watercolours in a little travel palette and some nice paper for Christmas. When my sister came for the weekend, we had a painting binge, and I had a play around with some of my new colours for this sketch of a somewhat eccentric house.

These are Daniel Smith, the Colours of Inspiration set of six. I added a couple of different greens to this sketch. Daniel Smith make some really interesting shadow colours like Moonglow and Shadow Violet - great for atmospheric effects.
The house is gorgeous, but the sky is amazing.
