Made a while ago, but I love my witchy hat/fascinator/headband!
It started with a chipboard dragon…I had to do a little surgery to take these fantastic wing shapes.
I gave them some veining texture with puffy paint, and then modge podged black tissue paper over it for the delicate texture akin to a wrinkly skin.
Then started forming the hat cone shape and the flat brim from some 12 x 12 cardstock paper (with iridescent skulls, very spooky).
Then assemble (I guess I skipped documenting that here. Hot glue is your friend).
Close up of the eye.
Gluing the headband on.
Here’s my friend Katie modeling for me.

Your fascinator is really fun. Where did you find that eye??? It’s so big!
I’m pretty sure I bought a whole bunch of them off Amazon. I think it’s the standard size.
