These are really nice! And what a smart idea to have a drawer like that.
I’ll send it today!
You are the best mom to be able to make something so fitting! Do you need one for every lost tooth or are they meant to be reused?
I love it! I especially love that mushroom better add it to the Mushroom May thread before it’s June!
Does your local tooth fairy do money or gifts? Ours does $5 (Thanks, Bluey.)
@AIMR - haha. They are definitely “home made style” but my kids seem happy so I’ll take it. They are reused. Each kid has one so we should be good now.
@AntBee - we do money. I did $1 for my son but I’ve heard inflation hit the tooth fairy. We did $2 for Rose’s tooth so we’ll do the same for Ruby. They watch a YouTube family (A for Adley) who gave $20 for a tooth. I told them our tooth fairy wasn’t as rich.
Twenty dollars!?! Per tooth!? Do they know how many teeth humans have!???
Man. I feel better about my Bluey influence for five now! Lol
Whoa! How many teeth do kids lose? $20 a tooth?
Kids are pretty money savvy these days…I remember one year we were late getting my 8 year old nephew his birthday money…when we gave it to him, $1 for each year, he asked if we were going to pay him interest!
Such a cute little make! Your stash has such pretty colours
I have heard the first tooth gets more…but I wouldn’t be surprised if they gave $20 for every tooth. They make so much money with their channels. Their birthdays are over the top and they are always going on some wild trip. I’m not jealous…lol. (We have stolen some of their ideas, just adapted to be a bit more in our budget.)
Haha…that is pretty savvy @AIMR!
@jemimah - fabric selection by Ruby!
Some itty bitty dresses made out of Liberty Lawn to fit a 4 inch doll. I made three but only managed to photograph two.
At this rate it will take me until the next century to make a dent in stash
So sweet! Liberty lawn!
Adorable
Sounds like it is time to start sewing clothes in RL Scale!
(Real Life Scale, that YOU can wear)
Here’s a leafy thing I made for the May themes, for myself. It’s all from stash - a Japanese knot bag. The pattern for the bag was from one of my Japanese books, but I improvised the piecing and applique design myself.
The neutral colors are lovely together. I love this style!
Thank you, me too! Although this isn’t a Yoko Saito pattern, it’s very much inspired by her aesthetic - handmade, organic, tonal neutrals, neatly stitched but often a little wonky (in a good way).
I have been collecting men’s suiting to make some things inspired by her. I think your spin on this is quite pleasing as well as a functional piece!
Ooh, what great idea for men’s suiting fabric! I’ll look forward to seeing those projects!!
Love!
Very lovely!
