I posted a separate thread on this, but here is the piece that took up my time in April. I got three Bingo spaces! Cross Stitch, animal, and five colors! Maybe the flowers are nature inspired?

I had a Mother’s Day gift idea in mind even before the themes for May were announced…truly, that was my sign to start stitching!

The pattern is from Stitchrovia’s Etsy shop as part of a three-pack. I used sparkly aida cloth because “more is more” as far as my mom is concerned, and did not add my initials and the date because I thought it was going to be a tight fit in a 4" hoop with no space for such hubris, instead of slightly too large for the 4" and requiring an upgrade to a 5" hoop. Sizing issues aside, I thought it makes a cute representation of love.

It is lovely! I love the shadowed lettering…and sparkly aida cloth? Where have I been…in a cave? WOW!

The cutest! I’ve also never heard of sparkly Aida but mom deserves all the “more is more.” Excellent stitch.

I use it a lot for Christmas designs too, because they practicality demand extra sparkle!

I’ve stitched so many fun little designs over the years, and I keep finding them in every box I unpack. I’m forcing myself to process them when I come across them. This is what I did last weekend:

I’ve accepted that I’ll never be an amazing papercrafter, but glueing a piece of fabric to a card blank is something even I can do.

Eta: almost all of these quick, fun “snack” stitches in between big projects are from stash, because they’re unplanned one-evening type projects. I don’t even have a big cross stitch stash, but some gifted embroidery thread or half a yard of aida fabric lasts a long time.

These cross stitches are adorable @Immaculata and @wittychild!

I’m still working on my stitch bingo, I think this little needle and thread roll counts for nature inspired :herb:

All handsewn, it was a nice little TV project.

I know it’s June 1, but I have family visiting today. I’ll get new prompts up when I can. Thanks for your patience!

 Thanks for giving me an extra day, all! Summer has unofficially started here in NJ and we are suddenly busy, busy, busy! :sun_with_face:

:tada: We had two theme-qualifying stitches this month from jemimah and wittychild. We only had 1 qualifying stitch last month. Remember we need at least 5 entries from 5 different stitchers per quarter for our drawing to take place (completed BINGOs and BONUS stitches count!).

:hourglass_flowing_sand: The next quarter ends at the end of this month!

Our random themes for June are:

June Themes

:speaking_head: Don’t forget to tell me if you get a BINGO!

:gift: JUNE BONUS! Share any stitch from an LC SWAP (stitched this month) for an extra drawing entry!

Have fun and happy stitching! :sewing_needle:

Here’s what I’ve been stitching. It was for the small box of color swap (sent in May so not June bonus qualified). Not sure it qualifies for any of the June themes, either, unless you count the GIANT amount of time that it took me to make from start to finish, or how I had to keep it a mystery until my partner received, even though I wanted so badly to post it!

Here’s my bingo card so far
