Brief Description: These are some covers I made out of empty feed bags for the little chicken coops during our recent hurricanes. I sewed some of the corners/darts and overlaps to fit the coops, reinforced them with rope and bungee cords, and the worked out well this time!

Awww thank you! I’m still learning and there is so much to learn! These particular insects are fairly well-known here, but there are so many endemic insects that exist(ed) only in one small place, like many species of tiny weevils that are found only in like rotting logs in the back of a single valley! (And it’s probably like that in a lot of places, honestly.) The insect researchers here are basically racing against time to find/document as many as they can before they disappear.

Brief Description: Postcards make a great hello! Blurs in case my postcard buddy would prefer a surprise. This was hard to get a decent picture of, but it’s a dark sky color with the star field of my favorite constellation poked out with holes so it shows when you hold it to the light

Brief Description: Major upgrades to my partner’s wizard staff for renn faire. Added the antler to the top (pegged, glued, leather wrapped), wire wrapped the star stone and suspended it from the tines, added the jawbone and amulet to the bottom. It was a big hit - lots of compliments at the faire this weekend. It was both a big project and a big project - hard to find ways to hold everything still while I was working on it.
