Chunky Houses Halloween Edition 2023 GALLERY

@curiousfae Another awesome house! Love the color scheme and pop from the flowers. Cool imagery!

@goatgoddesss That’s so creepy yet somehow whimsical! I love the ghostly girl. Is that a real brach/twig? It looks so cool!

Oh, and I have another 10 or 21 haning 8n the window. I’ll take a pic after dark when they are not backlit.

@steiconi what a spiiky addition to your collection. The layers are creepalusious!

And the rest of the collection, well, most of it. Some have not stood the test of time but were loved anyway. It’s so fun to see the range of interpretations and styles!

That’s so cool! I love the chunky pumpkin and the little skele arms popping out of the ground while the character is just chillin’ in her cool hat. Great stamps on the back, too!

Fabulous! I love the hands…and cheesecloth is definitely going on my supply list! Gives the piece a very crusty, scary vibe! Love it!

I zoomed in on the top to look at the text “Bone Collector”. So cool. It has so many bits and pieces that, I agree with marionberries, tells a story.

Awesome houses posted!

Lots of fun details in that!

I recd from @marionberries!

Wonderful layers of spooky fabric to make a fun Halloween scene. Such a clever idea!

And the back.
I’m not sure what it’s made of- paper maybe but its kinda shiny. It almost looks like leather. It’s so cool! Love how you attached the hanger too.

Thank you to both my swap partners! These are the first additions to my new collection.

The back is paper I used as protection when I spray painted items for a steam punk engine. Hense the copper and black. Add peice of zipper, the top off wine bottle foil and you got it. The fabrics were from an impulse buy and were fun to fussy cut and collage.

Enjoy!

It had not occurred to me to use fabric like that. I bet it has an interesting texture. Neat!
