@Smeddley all your little crochet friends!!! I love them so much! I think the whale is my favourite, but the bee is adorable too… and the doggies… oh my goodness I love them all
@Tapestry I love all your mixed media pieces, and I especially love the sentiment on the phoenix ATC. The monster and frog cards are really cute! Is the frog drinking a cup of tea inside a cup of tea?
@megwell I like the stamped arrows and the colours on them! And “if cats could text you back..” made me laugh, lol! I know my cat certainly wouldn’t lol! I love the bright colours on the cat. And the tiny mug; I love it! These are about the size that people drink coffee out of in Brazil. I love that it has a place for the thumb on top. I bought a pottery mug second hand once that has that and it’s the most awesome thing; I wish all mugs had it!
@LovelyMiss you’ve been busy in the kitchen! The broccolli beside the salmon looks really tasty! I really like the colours on your painted folded card. And I love my ribbon Thank you for making them
I want to comment on more projects so badly, but it’s almost time for dinner and I have a pile of emails/invoices/kids’ documents to get through before the end of the day.
Good job on a great season, everyone, and as always, thank you to our organizers for all the hard work they put in to ensure we all have a great time and are encouraged in all our making. You are appreciated more than you know!
Prompt: February - Cheese the Day Team: Cheese Trustees Project Name: Pots of Faux Flowers Project Link: Brief Description: Last year I decided that while I really love the look of pots of flowers on my porch all summer, I do not love watering them every day. And therefore I don’t water them every day. And they will therefore die. To avoid murdering more plants, I made big pots for beside the front door last year, along with the little pot in this picture (with the bee on it). To continue the theme, I made the other two pots seen in this picture. One is a yellow pot with white flowers, while the other is a green pot with yellow flowers. Since they are real clay pots, filled with actual dirt, and the floral foam is wedged in really tight, they should stay put on the porch all season. Project Photo(s):

Honey lemon gelatin sounds delicious! How did you make it? And, if you have any tips for making nice looking wax seals, I’d love to hear them! Yours look so much nicer than mine!
Brief Description: I had this ATC-sized piece of “tester” scrap in my ATC supply bin. Had a partial outline of a generic bird on it. I altered the silhouette, added the well-known line from Poe’s “The Raven,” and added a few more marks to the background.
Thanks, I think your wax seals look amazing! My main tip is to be sure my stamp thing is cool every time before smooshing. I get antsy and will try to do too many in a row without letting it cool first & those never turn out as well.
The honey lemon gelatin
I heated up lemon juice & water (I used the juice of two lemons with water to equal 3 cups of liquid). I added only 1 Tablespoon of honey, but you can add more to taste. I mixed that with powdered bovine gelatin (I’m allergic to pork)
I mix it all together in a small saucepan & whisk while heating on low. I heat until the gelatin is fully dissolved. Then I take off of the heat & transfer to a container ( I use a glass pyrex). let sit at room temp until most of the bubbles go away & refrigerate until firm
Our last name has Boss in it, so TaskBoss worked for us. We get a little crazy & it goes for a year & then we do the big thing at Christmas. We even have a golden head trophy
