I didn’t read to much either, honestly. But a hospital is not going to get an item in and use it if it is not disinfected first. They might need to use hot water. So better to be sure to wash any fabric before sewing it up.
I love this!! I do need to start saving more scraps…
Getting a lot of little projects done that have been hanging around in my room…hubby asked for a small pillow for his new recliner…Barbie needed a new outfit…
Love that tiny little sweater!
@loves2experiment @AIMR I promise lots of close ups once the top is done
@AIMR LOVE the fishy print
Our @belladune is back! Yea! I can’t wait to see what you spin!
I love it! There’s a lot of orange in there.
I’ve finished my lettuce craft cross-stitch. Pretty pattern, and I’ve not done cross stitch in years.
I am back! In and out, I’m sure, but less so now that I’m home always. lol I’ve been spinning too, and stitching with handspun. So wait for those ones, they’re pretty fun to look at I think lol
I’m begining to really regret giving away my whole cloth diaper stash. My daughter’s clothes didn’t fit over them and it was a pain in the patootie to wrestle them. Plus I was the only parent willing to deal with the non-disposableness therefore yuckiness of them. (eye roll hard here). So I passed them down to the newest baby in the group.
Now I’m having a hard time ordering/buying disposables and the weather is better so I’m thinking maybe I should look to restock the cloth diapers (maybe make some?) and let her wear dresses…
ETA: PSA- do not google knit underwear patterns if you have a drink in your mouth.
End of report.
Girls clothes are definitely not meant to fit over cloth diapers. It’s a shame really.
But I’m feeling the same! Might be potty trained at the end of all this.
so cute, I’d love one, but if there’s no egg hunt this year, you could fill up with the kiddo’s faves, some activities for being stuck at home, and drop it off on their doorstep,
I’m in, heading to the craft room to organize some projects to do. Time to get things done.
Welcome @Teachergirl! Can’t wait to see your project posts!
Welcome @Teachergirl, so happy to have you here!
I finished binding my Ohio State quilt. Photos hopefully tomorrow!
Lots of fun projects in here! I have been taking this time at home to clean since I’m a very messy person and my bedroom got out of control. But today I took some time to make some scrunches and I have fabric picked out to make a quilt tomorrow. So Hopefully I can post that tomorrow with the top all done!
How did I miss this?
Oh well, found it now, and loving all the crafting that’s going on.
I’ve got loads of WIPs and UFOs that need to become FOs!
For starters theres:
- crocodile stitch bag
- 2 shawls
- at least 2 of the penguin projects need finishing (birthday presents for May 6th)
On top of that I need to do college work - including rethinking a big part because I no longer have access to the college laser cutter, and the boys are hankering after hydrodipping their nerf guns. I guess at least the nerf guns can come under art for their home learning, might not be on the list from school, but it’ll definitely be a big problem solving exercise for them.
You had me at “Penguin Projects”!!!? Cool! Can’t wait!
I just measured and cut out the pieces for the base of my TM patch KitchenAid cover, from an old frayed tablecloth my mom found for me in the garage. But then I realized that my pins are somewhere in the boxes and boxes of stuff shipped from Japan! Normally I would much rather just pop out and buy another box of them rather than go through all that, but I’m not going to stores right now… and I still have no intention of looking for a pin in a larger-than-haystack stack of moving boxes… so later tonight I’m gonna pin it together with sewing needles, which for some reason I have hundreds of right on hand.
