No crafting on my mat today, but I was an assistant for building a Kidlet designed, recycling materials, version of an international space station so I’m counting it.

My cat Alvin managed to grab my skein of yarn and dragged it through my craft room, hall, bedroom, down the stairs and into the kitchen. I woke up to find a tangled mess, but fortunately, I had stuck a stitch marker in my project or else he would have undone the whole thing!
He did manage to bit through the yarn so I had to knot it back together, but, I got it done. I made another much needed headband in a neutral.
This morning before Kidlet woke up and after I sent Mr Bee off to work I managed to pin the mat bits in place and start stitching down the white circles. Got 2.5 done before I had to stop.
I did a little bit of stitching and a whole lot of tired-ing after work. But I only have to work a couple of hours tomorrow, maybe afterwards I can get something done.

Feb 5-Spent yesterday with my brother. We had lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant (He has never been!) and then went shopping at the Asian Mall. I did his taxes for him. He left happy with a bunch of favorite Japanese treats and knowing he is getting a refund!
I had a little time to cut out my pattern while my fabric dries.
I need to get started thinging! It’s 10:15 pm and I’ve not done anything yet. Very unlike me! Tomorrow morning I’ll have a sewing class and Mr. Imma will be away later on, so I’ll have ours of crafting time.
ETA: before we headed out tonight I hand stitched a rip in Mr. Imma’s coat! It was only 5 or 10 minutes but I definitely did something.

Moving along! The carrot noses are so teeny, but they make the face! It will be done before you know it!
My morning started early with meeting the plumber after our toilet flooded the lower bathroom yesterday. He had to pull up the toilet and the worst sludge ever came up all over the floor. He unclogged it, but the sludge then blocked itself under the basement slab causing in to rise up under the drain in the floor…what a mess and stinky, stinky! After three hours, he managed to break up the sludge, clear the lines and even did the line out to the street that was done back in October just to be sure. $$$
We helped by moving boxes, bringing tarps, shoveling sludge into buckets…wore me out. Took a nap and now I am ready to do some sewing!
