Itty Bity Watercolor Book

There has been some neurographic arting in the Paper, Mixed Media, Art Journal Craftalong ( starting here ) and I want to jump in and play with my watercolors. So it only makes sense to make my own little art journal for that purpose

I used a strip of paper smaller than the pages to wrap around and form a sort of cover. It’s a paper I scraped with gouache paint so the paint didn’t go to waste when my kiddo was painting once upon a time… I kinda made up the binding based on a binding technique I forgot sooooo… it’s a little fancy but mostly functional.

And I love the way the pages sit when open

It’s about 4" tall and 3" wide when closed.

Thanks for looking! :kissing_heart:

This is gorgeous @Reinikka! And it’s such a great idea to make decorated papers with leftover paints - this is a brilliant example of how to make good use of them.
