She’s a high school ceramics teacher, but it’s end of semester, so she had to stay really late and then we rushed to get to the airport to pick up our youngest from a field trip. 
We showed up like this. 
But between all of that, she opened!! She passed out already, but will share tomorrow AM. She took lots of pix! Before I stole one thing.

Opening this precious package from @artsycandice felt like experiencing all the holidays rolled into one magical moment. I’ve always been the type to rip open the paper as quickly as possible, but there was a serene calmness that came over me as I carefully slid a knife between the taped seams of the brown paper package, unwrapping it as if my grandmother had suddenly taken over my hands, urging me to save the paper to repurpose later. The box was lightweight and filled with pristine white tissue paper.
The first thing that caught my eye was a night sky scene mesh bag adorned with blue and gold. I knew I had to start there. Inside, I found four delicate ceramic objects, and my heart squealed with glee as I unwrapped the cutest little owls, one of which was a worry stone. I can already tell the entire household will be vying for that tiny fidget. Next, I discovered the most darling little bud vase I’ve ever encountered and a beautifully crafted heart-shaped ornament decorated with wooden planks. The use of iron oxide and black underglaze wash showcases the touch of a true master.
Setting those aside, the delicate crinkling of tissue paper resonated through my living room as I carefully unwrapped a stunning wall hanging of a potter’s paradise. Pottery and leaves of all types surrounded a wooden pottery wheel underneath the night sky, all hung by a delicate Apple Tree clipping.
So many teeny tiny pieces, snipped from fabrics of different colors and textures, come together to create a beautifully crafted composition. It’s a scene I wish I could step into, to throw pottery at that wheel. The detail is incredible. The beautiful curves of her stitching highlight her immense talent. The wire cutter, sponge, rib, and more are all meticulously detailed on the potter’s wheel. I am beyond impressed!
The lights intricately woven into the night sky remind me of two things. One, the stars at night that flood the sky, inviting wishes upon those that shoot across it. The second, my love for @sweets4ever and the fireflies we chase on every adventure we take.
@artsycandice, your artistry is nothing short of enchanting. Each piece in this package speaks volumes of your skill, creativity, and the love you pour into your work. Thank you for creating such beautiful treasures that bring so much joy and wonder into the world.

Okay everyone. Get ready for this!!! I received from @sweets4ever today and OMG! I was at a loss for words. Beautiful work.
First, it came nicely packaged

I was sent some extras. Here is a very beautiful fortune cookie. I saw one posted a while ago and loved it so I was super excited to get one.

Just look at all the amazing details!!! The floral roof, the lady bug, the fence, the curtains and the pie!!! Ugh!!! I was definitely spoiled with this.

I saw a few ghost crafts on your Pinterest and I just knew I had to make some for you. They were super fun to make & everyone kept trying to steal them.
The house just made it out of the kiln and cooled on time to wrap and ship Wednesday. I was going to put it back in one more time to add metallic gold luster overglaze to the door knob, pie pan, etc., but that definitely would have made me late, so I used some New Penny copper paint instead.
Thanks for being my partner!! Love your themes and sense of humor. It was very inspiring to create for you!

Okay, brace yourselves. I received the most unexpected (although I did expect something lol) package from @FiredGinkgo. I was so busy yesterday, that by the time I had a moment to take pictures, the light was terrible. So after I got the kids to this morning, I took this outside. Behold… the marvel… I think I gasped when I opend this hanging lantern. The color is deep and delightful and if you have ever done any carving of clay you may be able to begin to understand how long all of these cut out shapes took to create, and finish the edges. I am blown away and I love it so much. I am not the poetic writer that my partner is so I will just share the pictures and let them speak for themselves…
It was challenging to photograph with the length that the dangly bits added but I hope you can all grasp how lovely this is. Thank you very much for this precious creation.
Oh yeah! There was a delightful little extra… one of the little fortune cookies.
