Prompt: Research Project Team: Don’t Stop Be-Leafing Project Name: Reader’s Haven book nook Project Link:Reader’s Haven booknook (pic-heavy) Brief Description: I made this for my DIL for Christmas. I know I previously posted up a few parts of this project but the parts I didn’t post, and just even the assembly meet the requirements for RP. This will also be my BLUE RIBBON ENTRY for mixed media. It is my own design, from the ground up, and features wood, paper, paint, fabric, etc. I am also applying this to the Duck Pond game under the County Fair challenge. It definitely required a careful selection of parts. Project Photo(s):

Prompt: Zap Team: Don’t Stop Beleafing Project Name: WiP/Carfty To-do’s Tracker Pg Project Link: N/A Brief Description: After making my Nerd Games tracker pages, I’m a teeny bit addicted to making fun tracker pages in Canva. This one is for all the projects I need to finish before the end of the year. The colors are inspired by a classic county fair poster.
Prompt: October Sporty Team: Don’t Stop Beleafing Project Name: Felted Mole Project Link: - Brief Description:
Are moles sporty? Probably not? I wouldn’t know as I don’t watch sports or know sports teams. My house prefers competition reality tv. So I’m going to call this in honor of The Mole tv show, which I enjoy. He’s needle felted and about 3" long.
Event: Experience the Fair - Barns
Moles are insectivores, eating 70-100% of their body weight in worms, grubs and insects every day
Moles can dig up to 15 feet (about 4.5 meters) per hour
Moles are some of the only animals that can smell in stereo, meaning they can determine the direction from which smells are traveling
I’m also submitting this for the Experience the Fair event — Games - Ring Toss because these are small and require precision (and reading glasses ) to paint.
Brief Description: although the birds themselves are an important part of the ecosystem, these painted stone representations are just purely for looks.
Prompt: October - Battle - Group Team: Don’t Stop Beleafing Project Name: Foil ornaments Project Link: Brief Description: My mom ordered a foil ornament kit, and my niece and I spent an hour making these double sided ornaments. There are more to do, so I may have a few more to share later. These are fun! Here is my “group” of the ones I made. Project Photo(s):

Prompt: October Ginger Team: Don’t Stop Beleafing Project Name: Pink glider dragon Project Link: - Brief Description:
These guys are a blast to make. They are adorable and adaptable and I might have to make 50…
Bad news. I did the math and I have beads for 80.
Good news. I think they’d be a nice addition to my magic item gifting stash for Renn Faire next summer.
Prompt: October - Ginger Team: So Corn-fused Project Name: Pickled Habaneros & Pepper Jelly Project Link:Pickled Habaneros & Pepper Jelly Brief Description: Canning Peppers need HEAT and bring the HEAT! And they may not be red, but they’re the color of many a ginger’s hair! I already made myself a note to plant less hot pepper plants next year (about a hundred habaneros is too many!)
Welcome!!! It’s lovely seeing so many new faces around here. You posted perfectly
