After fighting with my embroidery/sewing machine last weekend, I’ve learned it needs to be serviced, so sadly no more machine embroidery playing around for me. I ended up getting out my old sewing machine this weekend to work on some stuff, including one of my outstanding claims for @AudiobookLover! This one will be on it’s way tomorrow.

Ornaments for @roler and @lifeinpigtails packaged up for sending in the morning. One part of @AudiobookLover’s ornament got messed up in an ugly way so I’ll pick up a replacement tomorrow. Then I can claim again!

I’ve been working some on @Lynx’s ornament today. I just finished the first version of the hummingbird, but I think I’m going to change one color and redo it. I have part of @marionberries ornament done and need to grab something from my backyard to work on the next part.
Oh, and I’ve also been eagerly checking, double checking, and triple checking my mailbox to see if @roler’s ornament has arrived (I haven’t looked today, since there’s no mail delivered on Sundays, but now I’m considering the possibility that maybe the mailman came sometime after I checked last night…I’ve convinced myself to go take a quick look 
).

Sooo, I’m glad I convinced myself to check the mailbox, even though it’s Sunday. I received an adorable Christmas related ornament from @roler! I love the kawaii style faces and I really like how it’s a double ornament meant to be draped over a branch. Thank you so much roler, I love it!!

Oh, that is so fun! I’m glad you convinced yourself to check the mailbox too! I’d not seen an ornament made that way before! And, I love how the stocking and the candy cane are pretty similar in shape, too.

Yay! I got the idea for the kawaii faces from some cute ornaments I’d seen on pinterest. I started out just doing the candy cane one, but it somehow felt too plain on its own, so I decided to make the double one. We have a few ornaments that drape over a branch like that in our collection; granted, they’re ice skates connected by their laces, so it makes a little more sense to have them as a set, but I figured it could still work with other stuff as long as they kinda looked like a set! XD

Oh, that is so cute! I have an old ornament that is a pair of mittens, that drapes over a branch like that.
I had to work Saturday night 8pm to 8am, and it really wrecked my weekend plans. So I may be a day or two late in sending out your ornament, @AudiobookLover.

Hahaha, well, L2L asked for a snarky 2020 ornament, and this seemed to be the perfect image! And omg no, not scented!
I keep trying to remind myself that out of this whole year of awful, I still have some good things. The main ones are my family and friends still being healthy and supportive, my new amazing job that I somehow landed during quarantine, and this site full of creative and motivating people! Thanks, you guys!!

I received my D&D / Critical Role / Mighty Nein ornament from @roler this evening. I was so excited I literally squealed! My son thinks it Is so cool, too.
It depicts Laura Bailey’s character, Jester Lavorrr. @roler says her design was based on fan art she saw online. I love its anime vibe!
