My non-straight journal page made me want to do several pages that show part of the page behind. I’ve seen this done before and it’s really cool and some people get really intricate.

These pages are pretty simple and I’m not done but I like how it’s looking so far

I made this page today

It was loosely based on this video. I didn’t use magazine scraps. I used just some random paper scraps and junk mail.

I really need to get back to just doing something…

I did sign up for the 5 day bookmaking challenging that begins May 26…and I am prepping pages in a notebook for my Alisa Burke lessons I have purchased and not even begun!

Your page is lovely and inspiring!

Beautiful page! I adore the colors and the softness of the composition.

Anyone want to do this video this coming Sunday (April 30) at 2pm Eastern time? I know some of us have done Neurgraphic art before. I thought it would be fun to do together.

If you want to complete your page in our normal 1.5-2 hour window you probably will want to choose a smaller page.

Supplies:
paper
sharpie or other non-water soluble marker
paints, water colors, markers, crayons, etc.

This is really forgiving. you can use any medium you want.

I’m keen to join in, but with the change in daylight savings hours, it will just depend on whether or not I’m awake, so don’t wait for me if I’m not there :smiley_cat:

I’ll put it on my calendar, I’ve wanted to try this.

Do you make each page and then cut them or cut them and then make the page?

This type of art is popular for teaching in schools.

I’ll be out of town, so I’ll have to miss this one.

this was a notebook I used to wipe off excess paint so it wasn’t wasted. so I had some color on the pages but they weren’t done by any means. I cut them and then added more color and will do more art as time goes on. I saved the extra pieces I cut out to add as fold outs on other pages.

Some people I think really plan out their ideas ahead of time.

here are some really cool examples

This woman must have made her pages first then cut. I think it just depends on how intricate you want to go. I didn’t tackle a fancy scene. I just wanted some interest on my pages
