There wasn’t too much drawing involved. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th pics of this site was really helpful.
I did markers and not watercolors because the cats were super energetic tonight and I didn’t want to have open cups of water around

I actually like the streaks!
Very pretty
And @geekgirl , the pinecone is so realistic!
Oh wow, your shading is great!
Just a few skeletons hanging out on my desk. I found a set of stamps that I bought a few years back - they were in the donate pile but now I might have to keep them.
Those are extremely happy-looking skeletons!
you can’t donate those skull stamps!
These are so cool!
Well, you can donate them to me…but, I am sure by now you have been convinced to keep them!!
I love that this is a take on those fabulous doll ones you made as well…I love them both!
Another goofy thing - I was telling the Pre-K kids about ghost painting(look it up, it’s a thing) so I used travel magazine photos to demonstrate.
Expand to see the ghosts in the windows!
I finished up the piece I started at the library makerspace program Tuesday night (unfinished bits posted in the Snapshot thread).
I ended up going with the original background but cutting it down to have less of a border. I stuck in on a page in my art journal, also cut down, with a washi tape border just to mask the stuff on the original page a bit. (My current art journal is a postal catalog.)
Bonus photo: Naturally, at the end of the program, I used my scratch paper and leftover watercolor to make fodder.
Wow you guys, you’re all making such great stuff!! I love visiting this thread.
Fun!
I like how the red looks kind of like handprints.
I was thinking the same thing! happiest skellies I’ve ever seen!
so cute, @Smmarrt
Ghost painting is so fun!
I enjoyed today’s session even if I didn’t paint. Everyone is fun to hang out with.
Sorry guys, my internet is a bit unreliable this morning. Really great to see you all and paint with you!! Thanks so much for hosting @geekgirl!
I altered a coloring book page instead of painting watercolors the last couple of Zooms.
The before (but already cut down to fit my art journal)
