those that signed up for the New Years event with Kiala Givehand, have you seen any info on access to the replays yet? I’m going to lose my motivation to watch them if its much longer!

Love your and @Smmarrt’s papers! I just started watching the videos yesterday and was surprised by the amount of water she uses. It does create a nice effect though.
I got the email this morning for the early bird registration for her 7 week workshop, I couldn’t find pricing until I went to the checkout page. I like her style but I’m not sure that I $250, $350 normal price, like her style…
I know I got that email too. I enjoyed the 5 day class and was interested in the 7 week class but for $250 I’d expect a year long class. I will reluctantly pass.
I did not use as much water as she did but I did use more than I normally would.

I watched 2 hours of the Artsy Meetup - Roben-Marie’s collage journal and the messy mandalas. So far so good.

I got some India inks for Christmas and I’m playing with them today. They’re super pigmented and work similar to watercolor but they’re permanent when they dry.
This one was interesting, I put some of the opaque white on top of colors I had previously put down that I thought were dry but most not have been completely dry.
I’m digging them so far, I think I’ll need to make room for some of them on my art cart.

Her tip to only have one white gel pen going at a time might be worth the price of the class for me. I’ve never had a white pen work more than one day and I realized it was because I was actually using like 3 different ones and they were drying in the tip. Looking forward to the lessons starting on Monday.

(Gray, mark making, and security envelope)
No Junk Journal January tonight, but I did take a shot at the January prompts from here in my new art journal, aka an old postal catalog.
Technically I got only two of the prompts (gray, mark making), but the gold marks look like zeros and I’m taking numbers too.

So watching the last 2 days of the Alisa Burke Leftover class, she suggests that we cover part of the pages with paint or plain paper to add doodling or writing - I had already thought that I’d use my Imperfect Letters class to add words/quotes/lyrics in my Leftover Journal - getting more bang for my buck!
And I am searching for my art journal from last year to continue the prompts (it’s a Nancy Drew book! Where is it!!!). 
I locate it in the giant pile of stuff under my desk.

I totally missed that. I think I was half listening to the supplies. I did buy the Uniball Air Micro and Fude Ball 1.5 pens based on her rec, but now I’m thinking I should check and make sure my white pen works. I only have one.

ETA: Oh! Regarding the white pen…did you see the commenter who mentioned using heat to unclog the tip??

What an awesome way to combine the classes! I should do some journaling over the weekend to make sure I have pages to write on when we get there.

I love this notebook, the paper is soooooo nice, but never found a good use for it so I’m excited to finally have a reason to use it! One of the pens is a micro and the other isn’t, honestly there isn’t much difference. The non-micro one came in a kit and I probably won’t bother replacing it once it runs out, I will replace the micro though.
The Fudeball pen you got is very satisfying to write with, it glides really well and puts down a ton of ink.
Oh I didn’t! I purged all of my non-working pens after I found a fresh one but will try that next time if it gets clogged again.
