I am going to have to put a hold on my flower drawing to do some actual work work! lol Also, I have got to get my scrap pile of papers and fabrics under control!

I also want to do some other lessons that will take longer…

So here are the last pics of flowers for a while…

I love your flowers, especially the detailed ones

Great work and, like others, lesson 4 is my favourite.

Those flower colours are marvelous together!

@Reinikka these all look great. I love them all but esp like all the circles and dots in Lesson 2 and 4. #4 is very striking.

@AIMR what class was this again? I am loving your flowers and am tempted to sign up for this one in the future.

It is called the Flower Journal…same sort of format…30 days of different flower ideas and media to use. I love it!

I am almost done…even though I signed up for Fodder School and Art is Magic, these little shorter lessons are a lot of fun, so I am thinking of joining the one where you did the ocean…Nature Journal?

BTW, Walgreens has their $2.99 composition notebooks on sale for 49 cents!!!

Just went to see whether there’s a Walgreens on my errand route later . (There isn’t, which is probably for the best.)

Lesson 26, Divide the Surface, was the inspiration for this card. Used Toned Tan paper but not sure I really like it.

And … I didn’t used my favourite doodle

Not sure if this one has been posted yet but there is a free inchie challenge starting in a few days. I haven’t made inchies before so this looks fun.

I’ve been watching some zentangle videos (rather than just doodle videos) and decided to practise on a few water colour squares I’d made several months ago.

Ahh, my camera and LC aren’t playing nice … the b&w one isn’t, it’s black on blue and pink.

They’re beautiful! I’m especially attracted to the top left. It’s like… delicious pasta. Or Rapunzel hair. Maybe her hair is pasta.

Working on using up random painted papers and making coffee sleeve books. I will abandon in Little Free Libraries around my neighborhood.

To all of my fellow compulsive class signer-uppers, how do you keep track of everything?

I put the lesson release dates into my google calendar which is helpful but I’m trying to think of a good way to track specific lessons I want to come back to. I often watch the lessons at night on my tv (AirPlay from my phone to the Roku is amazing!) then lose track of which class a project was from or forget about it completely. I don’t feel the need to do all of the projects, but would like to come up with a way to track the ones one watched that I want to make later. I’m waffling back and forth between trying to keep a paper list or using something like OmniFocus which I use to track everything else in my life I need to do but won’t want to waste mental energy trying to remember. I’m thinking whatever it is needs to be super light weight, quick to update, and always available.

What works/doesn’t work well for you?

Like I mentioned on the last art journal zoom, I am super organized at work. and it’s all due to OneNote.

I’ve been struggling to keep up with to do lists and things to remember in my personal life. I don’t have OneNote on my home PC because I hate subscription models and try to limit them. I use Open Office but I don’t have it on my phone or tablet.

So I searched and found Simplenote. It’s free, I can synch across all devices, and it’s like a stripped down version of OneNote. you can make notes, checklists, insert links and add tags to search by. I haven’t been using it long but the fact I can access it on all my devices, even my laptop is huge for me. I have high hopes for this app

Nothing - I just cut copy paper to fit each cover then sew the pages in.
