What do you mean by masks? Iโ€™m not familiar with that term.

they are similar to stencils, a mask is to block off an area, a stencil implies that there are holes that you apply paint through.

I am clearly in academic mode this morning, in fact I need to go and do a lecture now. :sparkles:

Day 1 for #carvedecember. Iโ€™m obsessed with these little stamps made into random repeat patterns.

First two scrappy fabric bowls/containers from a free lesson from Kristin Peterson/altereddtatesstudio.

Iโ€™m planning to do this with the Pre-K kids next week. And Iโ€™m going to try some with book pages, gel prints, and more fabric.

Ah! I love these!!!

Is it this video lesson?

Yes, super easy except for the drying time. One layer glued right side to inside of bowl, a layer added for stability- I used ugly fabric but you can use anything, muslin for example. And then 3rd layer with right side facing out.

I used a small milk carton and a juice bottle as my forms. The bowls slid off easily so I can reuse them.
