For the Everyday Holidays Craftalong Winter 2025, I made a pocket letter as a prize to mail out to this season’s winner.
The craftalong is meant to serve as inspiration for crafting, but also it’s a fun way to learn something new each day.
Last summer, our family (me, hubs, and our 3 kids), made a “splatter painting” outside on a huge piece of craft wrapping paper. The resulting creation has served for wrapping gifts, background for some ATCs, and more.
For this pocket letter, I created 9 separate collage ATCs using the “splatter painting” paper. Then I used metallic markers to spell each letter of the word “CELEBRATE,” and I traced the outline of the letters with a black sharpie. Finally, I added a border with silver metallic marker.
I added fun holiday-themed stickers and ephemara to the back of each pocket.
