Oh, that’s the coolest. I love all the texture. Jennie, I really admire how you crafted something so perfect for your partner that’s very different from your usual style. It’s scrappy perfection!

Check out this GORGEOUS flag @thanate made for me! I asked for native flowers and she stitched them up with lovely rich colors. The heavier fabric is perfect for outdoors and the flag. I will buy a lawn flag holder today so it can live among my coneflowers.

For our personal fabric swap, she sent me all these funky old fabrics that belonged to her aunt and her grandma. These are my jam!

Thank you, @thanate! I love everything.

@MistressJennie I love, love, love how you interpreted her Eat The Sun theme! The colors, the composition, the little raindrops, the network of roots. It is all so cool!

This gallery of prayer flags is just stunning!
@MistressJennie Eat the Sun is fabulous and all the stitching and scrappiness is yummy
@Abbeeroad More scrappy love, I love that the fringe is neutral, it makes the colors pop. Love the little peace sign.
@Kwality570 (peace) The layering and the colors! And of course the scrappiness, Peace baby.
And (sun) shine bright is something we all can use…all of us amazing weirdos.
@Harlan Unique and amazing. This is a little mushy work of art.
@thanate a beautiful wildflower garden and more scrapiness. I like the theme we all have embraced with a plethora of scraps.
@MightyMitochondria Rocks, I never would have thought of rocks on a prayer flag and they are a perfect addition. Must have been fun getting them to stay put.

And another from @MistressJennie. Crows are a perfect spirit animal for a crazy ‘all mediums are good, lets stuff the craft room with it all!’ crafter like me. OOOO Shiny! You captured me so well. Just look at the goodies this crow has gathered. Even the back is soothing and lovely.

I love so much about this flag! The way @MistressJennie fashioned the dimensional nest to hold all the treasures is just lovely. The trims across the bottom are the perfect touch.

I keep finding more amazing little details @MistressJennie!

The nest texture and little beads, the bead fringe, and of course the shiny charms. OK, this is distracting me from work.

@Abbeeroad that flag is sooo gorgeous. It plays to my ever so rainbow loving heart and the message is amazing.
@MistressJennie Wow. I love that “Eat the Sun” flag! The brown streamers at the bottom were the perfect touch and that cloud is so perfect for the organic feel! The “Shiny” flag is so neat too. I love the little treasures and the bird is so gorgeous.
@thanate Gorgeous flowers and I love the scrappiness of the background.

@MistressJennie --both of those prayer flags are so rich with details! On the sunflower one…is the cloud lace?

@MightyMitochondria --love that you attached rocks…incorporating nature into these flags is something I would like to do more of in future flag making…it is such a zen feeling flag

@thanate – I love the shape of your flag…the flowers are so pretty against the plaid…beautiful composition

@Abbeeroad – the white banner and trim really stand out against that gorgeous rainbow backdrop!

@Kwality570 --that is the happiest sun EVER! And, I love the peace sign trims and fringe!

I knew this gallery was going to be special! Wow…

I received a wonderful flag from @chameleonhound today! Check it out!!

A most excellent quote choice (Yoda for those not in the know) and beautiful scraps combined with wonderful embroidery! The background is from an old pair of carhartts, which I love (excellent “crude matter” tie in!).

Another indoor shot just because:

Thank you so much @chameleonhound - it’s perfect and perfect for me!

I received from @chameleonhound too! It included a lot of my themes. I definitely see patchwork quilting, dinosaurs, positive affirmations and bright colors in there.

Behold this amazing prayer flag with a great Dr. Seuss quote:

It’s so cute! I love it so much.
