I finally got around to knitting matching mitts for the hat that I knit months ago. The pattern is Jacoby, it’s free from Berroco (ravelry pattern link). I used a skein of Feza Yarns Uneek Fingering.
I modified the pattern slightly. Instead of binding off the thumb, I put those stitches on hold and picked them up and knit about 12 round to cover the thumb more.

They’re beautiful! Love the yarn colorway.
These look sooooo good!!
these are lovely!
gorgeous…and thanks for the pattern link…I want to make a pair to match my new sweater…
So pretty! Love that they continue the colorway between them so they aren’t exactly the same but match the hat so well!
I love them!
Absolutely beautiful!
Such pretty colors!
I like what you did with the thumb. It’s like a tiny private thumb sweater. The colorway is very cool!
I love your description of a thumb sweater.
Without it, the bind off would be around the very base of the thumb joint, and that was just awkward in the first pair that I made years ago.
Oh, I know what you mean. I have a pair of mittens I made with the bind off there and it feels so uncomfortable!
Very pretty colors and they are the perfect length up the arm.
Such great color. Lovely!
This is a great set
Thank you!
