Well, I just learned the hard way that my copier does not like fluorescent pink! Now to figure out what to do about it…embrace the pastel pink or pay for copies on a better machine or create something else entirely…?

Whew! Still doing Halloween zines, but have a solid plan for the one for this swap as well. So excited about this swap! There has been a local Zine fest the past couple of days. Tomorrow is an expo at a mall. Looking forward to seeing and possibly collecting some zines!

Guys, I think this zine is the coolest thing I’ve ever made, lol. Not that mine is super amazing or anything but just…the whole zine concept is so cool. I feel cooler having made one. And my kids are super impressed. 
First of hopefully many.

I worked on my zine most of the day and got everything formatted. Going to add a couple finishing touches and try to print and assemble tomorrow!

If it’s a Halloween one from me, it’s not actually officially part of this swap. I was just inspired by this swap, to create a zine to hand out tomorrow to trick-or-treaters. And if it is not from me… forgive my assumption!

I made some progress this week on mine and revisited what I’d done last night. I’m definitely going to have some more work on them before they’re done, but progress was made. I’m planning on Saturday being my Zine Day!

Oh my goodness! I was thinking send-outs weren’t til the end of the week! I haven’t finished the one I really want to send, but I do have a back-up zine that I can drop in the mail tonight.
UPDATE: Zines dropped in the mail after hours at the post office. Whew!
Edited to add a question: Is there a list of partners? I’m actually wondering if I am sending to, and receiving from, the same people.

I have not published a list of the partners, but to answer your question, no, you are not sending and recieving from the same people.
If that is something people want, I will make it different next time (will see if I can host a zine swap in the spring too.)
