@AIMR Maybe this is your brothers house, but it’s coasters.
ha ha …yep…I have to do toy round up at my house…the bed and couch are all I do, but I am sure there are toys in other places…I bet my brother would find a bunch under his three couches!
When we replaced our sofa a couple years ago with one w/o a skirt, it was a dog toy game changer.
I’ve been making the time to finish the editing on one of my books because of February’s numbers, so it’s definitely been motivating for me
Ooh! I just need to finish two more items on my WIPGO card and I’ll have a bingo! I’ve definitely enjoyed the motivation of my WIPGO cards (I have one for WIPs, one for new projects that I’ve been wanting to do, and one for some monthly Kimberbell projects that I’ve been needing to work on). I’ve just been terrible about getting my completed items posted (though I haven’t finished nearly as many as I’d like).
It sure is a motivation for me. Some of my projects turned out a lot bigger than expected, so I wasn’t able to keep up with the numbers called. O2 on my card is “workshop organization” and with sick kids and lots of other stuff going on this month I just had to skip it.
P2 is a study and gaming area for my son and what started out as a desk reorganization quickly turned into a full room make over. We’ve come pretty far on that one but it takes at least one more trip to IKEA so finish this in the las week of February is out of reach, too.
I have no clue about Bingo so I’d like to ask if I understood the rules correctly:
- You have to finish the project before or during the month the number is called to check it of your card?
- When there is a first winner you have to throw away your old card and start a new one with new projects?
Part of my hand painted birthday cards this month was a digital painting for a friend where I currently don’t have a mail address
Nope, don’t throw out your card if a Bingo is called. You can always start a new card with different projects, always with two for numbers already called to give you a head start. Keep playing your cards.
You do not have to finish the item during the month it is called. Cross off any project you completed AND where the number has already been called. You can circle items you have done but have not been called…they might be called next!
There are can be multiple winners.
Please note that international winners may not get the same prizes as shipping costs have to factor in my budget. Some prizes may be digital. I am also thinking of the option to “save” your prize for a bigger one at the end of the year.
I’m thinking about making a new card for things I plan to bake. To have some quick projects compared to the large ones on my other card.
But I have a birthdays coming up next we and I’m currently experimenting with cookies, so even if I don’t put anything finished on my card I guess I can fill up all numbers that have been called within the next couple of weeks. Wouldn’t that be unfair?
You are allowed to put two finished items in numbers that have already been called. You can put items you plan on doing in numbers that have already been called but they have to be done and posted before you can cross them off.
Since you can keep playing cards even after someone wins, it really doesn’t matter. The goal is anything that will get you to finish and post projects!
This is a very “loose” BINGO game…everyone who plays should be able to win a prize…this is just a “tool” to help.
I love these!
Reminds me of the VW we had when I was learning to drive. We took it on a road trip to Colorado. Oh, it was such a challenge to get out of 1st gear facing uphill.
Finished a hat and scarf a few weeks ago. My handy person saw it on the stand when he was installing a light fixture to me and commented that it was something his wife would really like. He offered to buy it, but I have so many things I have knit or crocheted that I was just happy to have it leave my house!
WIPGO!
I have a BINGO, only I haven’t done the items in the called boxes!!! I am not included in the prizes, of course, but I still want to win at my own game! Guess I know what I need to work on this weekend! ha ha
