Hi everyone,
My name is Emily. I love snail mail and have always been an avid sender of cards, letters and little hellos from afar. This is the perfect place to find myself. I collect stamps and have had pen pals since grade school.
I like to make all kinds of things, creating is definitely my happy place. I most like knitting, crochet, painting, felting, paper crafts. All of it really, love learning new methods.
I currently live in Pennsylvania. I have 1 wonderful adult son, one cat that is about to be 16 and is the last of our pets. I enjoy gardening inside and outside, animals, bugs, love nature and being in wild places.

I haven’t been feeling well for a while and no one seems to know what’s wrong. My asthma seems to finally be calming down but I am constantly exhausted…
So I may not be around often, but I will still pop in here and there.

I just realized I haven’t posted my official introduction this year, so here goes…
Hi! I’m Jen. Most everyone around this thread knows me, but for those who don’t: hello! I’ve been crafty my entire life, and had penpals as a kid and an adult - this craftalong is the perfect dovetailing of both. Who doesn’t love sending or receiving a bit of happy mail?
I definitely identify as a cross-stitcher first and foremost, but I also crochet, sew, and dabble in papercrafting/cardmaking. I love cats, reading, bright fun colours, and just about anything retro. My idea of a dream afternoon is being curled up on the couch with a book or stitching project with a classic movie on in the background.
