Good grief! Iāve been following & commenting on this thread & finally am sitting down to send some postcards (the railroad ones that @Cindy shared with me awhile back) and I just realized I FORGOT to post my intro here!
Rectifying that now w/ a lil copy & paste from last year 
My bday is Mar 19 == so many March happy mailers here!
I am Karen G & this thread makes me happy 
Iām especially fond of spring (except for that dratted Daylight Savings Timeā¦ugh)
My birthday is in March, and I celebrate Christmas & Easter.
I have 2 grown daughters, and a darling toddler granddaughter. I fly cross-country to see her as often as I can, so that is why Iām āout of pocketā many times for swaps lately.
UPDATE: We now have 2 toddlers in the family! Toddler (girl) E is sometimes a whirlwind, but also very kind and smart. Baby brother C just had his second birthday! Also, they moved back to the southeast, so I am able to visit much more often 
AND even more of an update ā awaiting the arrival of little one #3 this spring! Wow~ life is full, fun, & a bit exhausting at times
I enjoy knitting & am trying to get the hang of crochet, but it doesnāt compute all that well for me. Iāve always admired you gals who can paint, embroider, and make cool papercrafts! I try to join in on the papercraft/ mixed media zoom calls from time to time.
Cards I send will likely be storebought, but Iāll try to remember to at least include some stickers inside!
Iām hoping to get some time to try watercolor on cards or maybe ATCās.
Need to add that to the master to-do list (also get back to my ādoodlingā notebook that I started when either @Smmarrt or @Abbeeroad shared the link to the Doodle class a few years ago)
@AIMR , I see you mentioned some online classes you bought & I am in the same boat! I have at least one that I bought a year ago and NEVER tried!
I hope I can at least figure out the login 
Maybe that will be this weekās task!

P.S. I have a big wire basket full of happy mail from this site as well as from some Ravelry friends, and I spent some time today going back through all of the cards & postcards, going down memory lane. What a pleasure it was!
And I made sure to make a special stack of those I recād from bluebird (RIP). Such great memories of a fantastic crafter/creator and all-around lovely human.

Congrats on new additions to your family!
My oldest great niece is seeing someone and it seems quite serious, so there might be a future great nephew-in-law in the family (is that such a thing?).
I havenāt sent out mail either, and I know it is because I am trying to make it harder than it is. I have so many ideas for cards but something distracts me each time so, I just need to set aside a weekend day to make a mess!

Last weekend I received some wonderful happy mail from @Nightlight
A wonderful card and the most amazing oil pastel drawing. Thank you so much I love it. I also love the fact that you have round postage stamps.
Now that all my mail resurfaced from the depths of the US postal system Iām up to send happy mail again.

new babies are amazing & such tiny miracles!
I spent some time a few weeks ago doodling a little border on the postcards, so now to address them & write a quick message!
I just remembered something ā was it someone on this thread (years ago)?
saying that they would be happy with ANY kind of mail, so someone stapled together some junk mail & wrote a happy message on it and both parties were happy & laughed about it

Look at this gorgeous card @Nightlight sent to me for my birthday! I love bugs and the use of stickers along with the beetle is a clever use of stickers that I hadnāt thought of in my own card makingā¦just gorgeous! Thanks so much for the happy boost!

Ooh, if any of these are still available, Iām interested. Though I acknowledge that Iām a sporadic happy mailer at best, so if you want to prioritize more-regular senders, I totally respect that.
