Oooh, does it burst into flames???!!??
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Octo-lamp! ![]()
@Rlynn , that octostuffie light holder is amazing!
That octopus is amazing! I’m also super curious to see the magnet and card in action. So much light up goodness!
I used glow in the dark cosclay and a resin mold. I was very impressed with the glow function of the clay.
Oh my goodness! I need to buy some of that to play with!
I highly recommend. They have a green one too. It’s super crumbly at first but if you knead it a bunch it works up nice.
Right?! This gallery is amazing!
Wow!!! This gallery is amazing! @Rlynn lobe all the ways you made it light up! That Octopus is so cute.
@jeanneleigh that shadow Kc is stunning ![]()
@Myrthena that book lamp is a great idea. I might have to try that.
Things have been super hectic in my life and when I come on LC I have been tracking and doing mod stuff, so even though I have been ooh-ing and Ahh-ing I haven’t been commenting much. So, her we go!
@LovelyMiss – The space themed lantern is amazing. It is so neatly done. Every little piece looks so precise. Love the theme, shape, and the changing light color!
@Steiconi – Wow and Wow! That display done is AMAZING! Speachless. All the tiny details are incredible! And I love the blue and gold coloring.
@Tapestry – Way to think out of the box by making the coolest box ever! Ha! So impressive! And the fact that you cut it by hand and not a machine is insane!! Talk about dedication. Love the horse art. The shadows are stunning.
@Myrthena – What an amazing shrine! It is perfect for your partner’s theme! I like the shape. That book lamp is incredible! All those folds. It’s so cool! The glowing ghost is fun. The clay work by @Roots is beautiful and adds such an amazing and sentimental touch. Gorgeous package.
@jeanneleigh - So pretty! The white and white is so elegant and classy! Then it transforms into a soft and soothing display. I love it so much!! The votive is cool too. Did you cut all it on a glowforge?
@Rlynn - cough-cough Nope didn’t have enough swap anxiety before I saw this! Ha! Oh my goodness. That octopus is absolutely phenomenal! I am in LOVE! It’s the eyes that do it. It looks so serious and like you have invaded it’s territory! It looks like the character is a story book. I am obsessed with it! The glowing moth was adorable. How did you get the card to light up? What kind of lights did you get? Impressive from beginning to end!
My package seems to be moving very slow. It was supposed to be there on Saturday, and now it doesn’t have a date; it just says arriving late. After seeing this galley, I am nervous. I hope it arrived in tact. But even then, it won’t match all this gloriousness!
That octo is too much! Eeek! How frickin’ cool! Love that light up art, too! That looks like a great glow on the pretty magnet, too!
Thanks! ![]()
I used special LED stickers, copper tape, and a CR2032 battery. You can see the inner workings of the piece on my post on lettucecraft..
I got my AMAZING package from @gozer!!!
I love book nooks and I got the perfect specimen!
It looks like someone went picking wildflowers, and just set their books down for a minute.
But look! The tiny books even have pictures inside!

And here it is, in its new home on my bookshelf, between the books she got me for Christmas! (Elizabeth Peters is a HUGE favorite! I have all of her books and I cried when she passed. @gozer knows me so well – these are signed first editions and true treasures to me.) This is now a very, very special space on my bookshelf.
Thank you so much, @gozer! I hope you like your package even half as much!!

I love it. I just want to drop in there and curl up with one of those books. ![]()
Oh now that is a lovely sylvan glade!
Such a lovely book nook, @gozer! And those tiny books are adorable.
LOVE the book nook @gozer! It looks so cozy and tranquil.
Thanks everyone! I have never made anything like it before, and making it for such a miniatures expert like @Bunny1kenobi added to the stress, I am so glad it arrived in one piece and not all shaken up. I tried to make it as sturdy as possible.
Pshaw…. I’m hardly a miniatures expert! But I’m so glad that you leapt in with both feet and went for it. I love the results!
