Finished! I’m up to 9 blocks for this quilt now. I think tomorrow I’ll lay them out, and decide if I want to do just 9, with sashing, and wider borders, or if I want to take it up to 12 or 16 blocks.

These are the 10 blocks I have. I think I’m going to do one more blue-heavy Sawtooth Star-type block (the top center, 2nd row left, & 3rd row right all have a sawtooth star at their centers, even though they aren’t that specific block), and one more Flying Geese-type block with a moderate amount of blue, and hopefully some green, to balance out the colors. Maybe a Dutchman’s Puzzle…
Since I have a bunch of it, the binding will be the electric blue. I can’t decide if I should do the sashing in blue too, or if I should do the sashing in black, but cornerstones between them all in blue.

I think that bright blue would be too much for the sashing. I like the idea of a bit of blue with the black and then the blue binding…it really is a riot of color and shape…just gorgeous!

I have started on the 2025 Quiltalong, but it is late and I am tired, so I will get it finished up tomorrow. But, I want you all to know that I am super excited about the fun stuff I have planned for this year!!
