In the spirit of the current Nerd Games, I figured I’d share what I entered into the local Fall Fair this year. Not as much as I usually do, because my husband had just gotten out of hospital and was still in recovery mode, as I was entering my totally out of control asthma phase… I made it to the fair, but had to use a walker and rest every so many meters… but I made it.

“At Play” theme
Flowers in Bloom theme. This one won second place in its category. This was my only prize this year.
“Pets” category
Halloween Basket. Had to contain 2 handmade treats. I made 2 sugar cookies and the pop “corn.” The basket also contained some silk flowers, a pair of cozy Halloween-themed socks, a little “vampire bat” beanie, and a pie pumpkin wearing a witch’s hat.
I also entered my collage phoenix for the open homecrafts category.
