Weasley sweater 2026

Kidlet’s latest sweater is finished and she loves it. She chose the yarn colors and the embellishment hearts which I added as duplicate stitch after construction and before seaming.

Pattern: Alison Hansel’s Charmed knits Weasely Sweater in size: Child L/Adult sm
Yarn: Lion Brand Wool Ease: blush heather and cream

I made it in the large child/adult small size thinking it would be really big but she’s quite tall. I made the neck line a bit extra large because she hates things high on her neck. I’d love to show you her hilarious photo shoot, but the internet being what it is I can’t -just know she’s very pleased with her new sweater. and hopefully it fits for this season and next.

Previous sweaters in same pattern:
Maroon and gold, 2020
Blue and silver, 2021
Red and white, 2023

Of course she loves it. It’s adorable! You can tell by her pose that she’s proud!

I do hope she can wear it a couple of years! I know you worked hard on this and your cat did some mischief with your yarn!

You did a great job with the duplicate stitch. I thought they were knitted in.

I don’t know how in the world Kidlet can be big enough for an adult sized sweater, but it looks really great! There’s some room for growth but it’s not that big on her at all. The colour feels a bit more mature than the earlier versions with glitter, good choice for a big girl.

Thanks so much!
I can’t believe she’s so old, either. She’s always been in the top percentile for height and now at 7.5 she’s over 50”/1.27m tall.

Love how customizable this pattern looks, and you did a great job tailoring it to your kiddo. She’ll be able to wear it for hopefully years :crossed_fingers:

Love this sweater! But only half as much as I love that pose - the sass!
