Brief Description: After seeing the fidget hedgehog that @roler made, I immediately got the pattern. I couldn’t find my pony beads, so I bought some new ones. The holes were smaller than I wanted, so the beads don’t move very much. The yarn came from the yarn that was donated to my Crochet Club, and I gifted the finished hedgehog to the girl who brought all of the yarn in.

Brief Description: I have the bad habit of scrolling on my phone before bed, and the “just 5 minutes” turns into way, way past my bedtime. I’m trying to find other things that I can do that will calm my brain, and I already know how to do Zentangles, so I thought I would give neurographic art a try. I wanted to start with something small, so I did an ATC. It was very relaxing once I got going, and I will definitely be doing this again. I just used a Uniball pen and colored pencils. I might try other materials to see if I can get smoother results.

Brief Description: I organized a blind root beer tasting for my birthday. I got 40 different root beers (but only used 20), designed and printed some different forms and stuff, and set up and served them to everyone in tasting cups. It was really fun. The blind tasting really challenged all of the ones we thought we liked best! Dr. Brown’s was the overall highest ranked, though everyone had their own preferences and #1s. (The secret list is not the rankings, it’s the order they were served. Dr. Brown’s just happened to top both!)

Brief Description: Oh boy, y’all! You’ve all received your boxes so you know what was inside. They involved lots of different components and I spent most of my free time for weeks (months) getting everything planned, designed, crafted, and put together. I made and sent 13 total boxes (well 12 shipped and one was for me!).

Brief Description: I haven’t done any cross-stitch in a while (and if you look close, it shows ), but, last summer, I started this little kit that I have had for years. It’s a birthday gift for my sister, and I will turn it into whatever she wants (the kit came with a cheesy plastic frame so, if she wants it framed, I might pick up a nicer one if I can find one easily). It fits the prompt because not only was it a dormant craft, it required a lot of poking, us something I haven’t done in a while, required cutting of threads, and his hat is green!

Brief Description: I needed something to keep my students busy after our state testing sessions, so I dug out a paper doll template from my friend Dina (she was on the old site, but I don’t think she’s on here). It was originally designed to fold up into the size of an ATC, but I designed some wings for my students so it doesn’t fit the size anymore. I installed a lot of tiny, pointy, paper fasteners! My fingers were sore!
