You and @roler have me wanting to find a rug tufting place! That is so cool! And I love those sun catchers. I might need to find one to drive my cats bonkers
I didn’t even know those places existed. I should try to find one in my area. My Mom would love to do that with me.
Hey @roler @Tapestry ! You submitted projects toward a Gold Medal sometime this season and it looks like you met the requirements (or are very close)! Please PM me the below submission form by 11:59 pm central time tonight (Mon, Sep 30)! I’ll be ordering Medals right away so I can get prize packages in the mail ASAP. Don’t forget to claim any pins you may have earned, too!

@LovelyMiss, what a fun rug design! My mom just got into rug tufting and she also went to a tufting place to work on her first rug. It sounds like fun! We were in Vegas this weekend and I took a picture of this piece of art to show my mom. The tufted elements gave it some fun dimension. They had a few pieces that showcased tufting in a similar manner, but this one was my favorite.
Omg, that art so cool! I love seeing it used as kind of an embellishment or something instead of just full rugs. Thank you for sharing it! I’d love to see your moms projects, too, if she likes to share!
storer and gozer - it was really fun and not too bad pricing wise, though we did it when we were on a trip in TX and I’m sure pricing varies by market. I’ve noticed such studios popping up more places and have had to resist many times getting my own supplies and equipment to do it at home! (“You dont have space. You don’t need another craft.” “But I could use the yarn I have. Then there would be space.” “But will you use it or just buy more yarn?” LOL) It ended up taking about 4 hours. We worked straight through with no breaks and we were both sore AF the next day.
Can’t wait to see the projects if y’all decide to do it!

I have an almost finished collection of Mocktails, but I need to add a few more and organize them. So, that will get bumped to next season. Does anyone know if I can share a link to a Google doc so I can share it on here?
I really was hoping to do all of the things, but it didn’t work out. I made progress on several things, but only managed to finish these. The good news is that I have a head start on the Fall season!
Life was… interesting this summer. I made things but didn’t have time to make as much as I wanted, and barely had time to post. So please forgive the giant post as I get caught up.
