Nerd Games - Winter 2026

I am trying to start the year a little selfishly (self-care adjacent?) Mostly I make things for others which means some of my stuff, house stuff, hubby stuff gets put to the bottom of the list. I am also trying to spend more wisely & mend when possible. Christmas often doesn’t get thought about until crazy busy time in november. So there are a few themes in my posts & future projects

I’ve caught up on tracking. If you notice any errors, let me know. I can assure you that your points and projects have been entered correctly, but I got distracted a few times while checking off the individual checklists, so I may have missed something there.

I decided to send a birthday card to a friend from college. We’ve been out of touch for many years. I tried to call her several times but she never reached out to me. I hope the card will make a difference.

It’s very rare to have them here so well defined. There were some occasionally over the last couple of years but most of the times it’s more like a glow over the horizon.

@graverobbergirl Love the photos! The millstone is awesome. I’m ready for at least close to freezing temperatures to get back to my walks… Love the chicken print skirt. And bravo for the patience to swatch!

@HeroicHatchling OMG such cute birds! Haha, coffee containment system… (also yay Star Wars fabric)

@ezrib – yay for fixing things!

@silky_bee – ahhhhhh, I really want to see the northern lights one day! Love those bookmarks (both are cute, but I do like the dragon a little more…)

@craftaddchick – nice bag! It looks study and useful, and that moss green is lovely!

@megwell – love the bookmarks, makes me want to do more abandoned art again!

Prompt: January Battle - Audiobook
Team: Pepperoni Posse
Project Name: “Constraint” Artwork
Project Link: N/A
Brief Description: So if you remember my first bit of artwork “Pinpoint”… my coworker had a suggestion of adding on, and I’m too cheap to buy a frame, so I cut out, glued, and painted up a frame. I had to redo this one because I tried a yarn braid that just did not work on it…. and yes, I already have plans for the next layer if no one makes me take it down…

Love it! I hope there are additions and we get to see them.

This is so fun. I hope you get to make part three, because I want to see it.
