**Project Name: Backpack fix Project Link:Travel buddy rescue Brief Description: The 80s were the years when I decided who I was, so I’m an 80s kid at heart.
I fixed my Kennth Cole bag (an exercise that I expected would take almost no time). It took me a good 40 minutes or more to finally get the thing done. Tension issues in my sewing machine were the biggest problem .

Brief Description: I made this necklace to accompany my ren faire outfit. Made of polymer clay and featuring a pomegranate with a little red bead that looks much like a pomegranate seed. To this day, pretty much all iconic 80s songs are my favorite song. like New Order’s Temptation. The pomegranate could be interpreted as a symbol of temptation from Hades and Persephone to some retellings of Adam and Eve and the forbidden fruit.

The black fabric is from her kitchen (she made herself curtains with it). Hazel can be used as a doorstop to hold open the door to her deck, or to hold up a cookbook when she’s baking. Prompt: Big Time Team: Extra Epic Project Name: Frog Beaded Safety Pin Project Link: N/A Brief Description: Safety Pins was one of my bingo squares and I had the mental image of making a cool beaded design on a giant safety pin. I planned, plotted, designed, tried three different approaches, attempted to redeem the final result and have finally accepted this is as good as it gets. For the record, I hate seed beads now. Passionately. But by god, I tried.
For anyone interested in trying this insanity, you need to buy unirform size beads, not regular seed beads. The bead variance is part of why my fabulous plan did not work out.
I understand because I had a bit of that with my little beaded hearts. On a bigger scale it would have been impossible. But you persisted and it’s pretty darned cute
