Project Name: Gnome towel 1
Project Link:
Brief Description: I made some gnome towels. The noses are felt balls. They “stick to” the stove by hanging on the handle. I added some interfacing inside the hats and used my kamsnaps press. It worked better than I expected on the knit.

Project Name: Mini mince meat pies
Project Link:
Brief Description: My partner wanted to make mince meat pies. I was on crust duty. After the first batch of big ones (below), not everyone who wanted on got one, so we made another batch of minis. The insides are lumpy, the leftover one is blobby, and is mince meat ever the way you think it will be?

Prompt: Big Time
Team: Don’t Stop Beleafing
Project Name: Trunk or Treat event
Project Link:
Brief Description: I did this back at the end of October. It was ridiculous. It was SUPER FREAKING WINDY. Which was not great for a balloon-themed booth. At the event I blew up over 400 balloons by hand with a little pump. All the balloons in the bag were supposed to make a balloon arch on the table, but it was too windy. People kept walking over to the booth saying, “Is this your balloon? It was blowing across the park.” Anyway, I probably spent about 25 hours on this thing between planning, prep, set up, event, and tear down. We had probably at least 600-800 people.

Project Name: Wood ring vases
Project Link:
Brief Description: These look deceptively simple. But the rings were not perfectly round and a majority were about a mm off of fitting correctly. I had to sand down every ring by hand. I then painted and sealed them. I was supposed to have 6 vases, but by the time I sanded this many rings, I gave up. Also, rings kept breaking and I was over it.

Project Name: Candles
Project Link:
Brief Description: I made at least 60 candles again this year, and didn’t take photos until I gave most of them away. They were made over the course of about a month, with three full-on days of the actual candle making, and then another several many hours doing all the prep, clean up, and labeling. There were many new scents this year, some new tools in use, and some new jar sizes. It was my first time making 3-wick candles. I got several requests for more, so another batch of big ones will be coming in the new year!
