Brief Description: I made yarn caddies as part of the end of the year gifts for the kids in my crochet club. I bought the basic cut file on Etsy (as well as 2 image files), then used my Silhouette software to cut them. Then, my co-worker cut and etched them using the GlowForge. The kids loved them!
Brief Description: To go with the crochet caddies, I also made each member a crochet journal. I printed the black and white pages on our fancy copy machine!
@LovelyMiss I’m always amazed at how exceedingly competent you are at running with a theme! Basically all of that HR swag can pretth much be categorized as “legendary” imo.
@Bunny1kenobi Ahhhh those lil doors are absolutely the cutest!!
@craftycoffeeperson I’m not sure I knew you ran a crochet club with your students, but that’s awesome! Those gifts are really neat too, and I’m sure they appreciated them heading into summer!

Project Name: queen bee decoupage vase
Project Link: Queen Bee Decoupage Vase
Brief Description: inspired by the busy bees all around us, this decoupage and gold leaf vase is perfect for bringing some of our wildflowers inside.

Brief Description: I visited my mom today and we picked up the supplies (fake flowers, 12” grapevine wreath form, hot glue gun w/glue, scissors) to make the wreath. I popped all the flowers off the stems, after cutting the stems from the bunch (the hardest part… I should have bought wire cutters, too), and Mum arranged them. Then we tucked in some of the leaves. I only burned myself once with the hot glue! Bonus craft: I turned the stripped “stems” into a flower frog so she could arrange the leftover flowers in a vase. I just twisted each stem into a loop and dropped them into the bottom of the vase. It worked perfectly!
This spring has been brutally busy for me, so I haven’t had time to post, but I have made stuff! So I will try to get at least a little caught up now. I was going to put a bunch of projects in one post, but my internet got mad and lost my first draft, so one at a time it is. Sorry. I have enjoyed seeing everyone’s amazing and inspiring creations, even though I haven’t had time to comment on them.
