And suddenly she said we should do a small doll. Looking for a simplistic doll she had from before. And I found this owl-fabric and used that as a base, since Im more of an animal girl than a doll girl. But I went outside my comfort zone with pearls and sequins and the pink hair. She truly is one of a kind! And it was fun to make.
Prompt/Challenge Title: Slug & Jiggers Project Name & Page Link: Family Stepping Stones Team: Witch Weekly Brief Description: These stones start with concrete mix, and water, then harden enough to put out in the garden! Making these was what I picked to do on Motherâs Day. I picked up the kits at Michaelâs, and they were simple enough, but the directions said to wait an hour before adding the tiles, and 2 hours before doing hand prints or lettering. When I went back at 1 hour, I could barely get the tiles in, and we struggled to getâs Adaâs handprints. (Though the letter stamps worked perfectly at that point.)

What did you guys think of this new re-design for the Spring? Did you enjoy getting outside of Hogwarts, and exploring more of the Wizarding World (through the locations of book 1)? Did you enjoy switching up our teams, and getting to be âwithâ friends who were previously in other Houses?
For our next term, would you like to continue with this theme? Or would you like to go Quidditch World Cup theme for the summer, then come back to the world of book 2 for our next term?
Remember, this is YOUR craftalong! I can only make it great for you guys, with your input!
Yay! Congrats team Quibbler! Everyone made awesome things!
I liked the redesign - exploring more of the world was fun! Iâd love quidditch or book 2 for the next term - both would be great (which isnât very helpful).
I vote whichever is easier for you! I wasnât able to participate much the last few months, but Iâm hoping to squeeze some finishes in with my limited mobility before surgery.
I really liked the slightly longer term, when exploring the world of the novels, and I really like making sure that we never end a term on December 31. (I prefer having us end January 31, so that folks have time post-holidays to share their handmade gifts and bakes.) Since no one seems to have a true preference, Iâve decided weâre going to do a shorter Summer Term (June - August), with a Quidditch theme. Then do a longer Fall/Winter term, September - January, that explores Book 2.
