My first monster entry!!
Loretti the Yeti & the Fresno Nightcrawler
These are what I made for my swap partner @gozer for the Monster Swap!
Thanks to gozer, I now know about the Fresno Nightcrawler. So, I used to live in Fresno, and it’s actually where I met my husband in 1994. We both left Fresno, however, before the first Fresno Nightcrawler sighting. So we had an amusing evening of reading about these and watching videos!! And then we had to share them with my mom and brother. Everyone became educated and amused!!

I loved all the monsters and wanted to play along. Not totally sure if this counts as its just some Doodles, but I really enjoyed them and wouldn’t have done them if it wasn’t for the Monster Jam:
I’ve loved seeing all the monsters being posted as part of monster jam. I doodle every night before bed to wind down. I recently finished an entire sketchbook of Derpy Birds, so decided to take my inspiration from the monster jam and draw these weird little guys:

I managed another Monster Jam entry!
Inspired by the Monster Jam and the birth of my nephew, I crocheted up 7 cotton monster granny squares. They will eventually become part of a larger gift for my nephew, but I got started before I had a plan. (They are so cute, so how could I resist?)

I got the pattern here but replaced the button eyes with yarn to be less of a choking hazard:
I wanted to make more than 7, but a sprained wrist mid-May and just kinda wanting to give the final project more variety change…

My Monster HIgh Freddy Krueger custom is my next submission. I had so much fun making this!
I happen to have a huge obsession with Monster High dolls. They brought the original ones back with movie-themed dolls. One doll they haven’t made yet was Freddy Krueger, and I really wanted one, so I took a chance and decided to try customizing one. Her she is!

I used the Enid doll as a base. I removed her hair and face paint and rerooted her with a mix of oranges, yellow, and red to give a fire-like look. I think I blended it too much, but live and learn.

How did I almost miss this?
Meet Ptilly the Pterodactyl. I made her for my GDs growing family of dinos.
Fourth in a yearly grandmother’s quest to satisfy my granddaughter’s love of dinosaurs. She will be seven in January and I know she will love Ptilly.
The Choly Knight patterns are so fun and the directions are awesome (link below). This is one of their free patterns. I did make the wings larger and added wire for shape. She is so cute! I can’t wait to see her face.

And then there is Bett the star struck bat. She’s hardly a monster but her mom has wondered about her from time to time…
The Dotee gallery is lighting up with some very cute little gems. I was lucky to swap with @EriChanHime . We swapped years ago on that other place. Fun times.
