50 Projects or Bust! 2025

I need to get my card drawn up. We’ve lost the plot over here from November to present and this would help ground me a little in a category that is good for the soul. Hopefully that spreads out to the other rogue areas, too.

I have turned to “have done” lists for my day-to-day tasks, especially as a way to remind myself that yes, I accomplish a lot in my day, even on days when it feels/looks like “nothing got done.” I find this is especially affirming at this stage of life, with 3 kids who are a little older now, but still need a lot of help/reminders, etc. I’ve been texting my husband my have done lists and it feels good to check things off instead of looking at the empty spaces next to squares that didn’t get checked off on a to do list :joy:

I’m still going to do the WIPGO though because it looks like fun, and because I want to have a “want to do” to-do list instead of the “must do” one

Hoping joining here helps me tracking and posting my project

My WIPGO card:

Everything I started gets a little icon. I think I will color the background once I posted the finished thing.

Finished projects:

  1. Lamp for my daughter’s room

Thanks!
I Hope this keeps me on the track especially with posting my crafts.
I tried to join the 50 projects so many times, but I never managed to compile a useful list.

You did a fantastic job…I know you used that velvet yarn so it is soft and cuddly…now I want to make one for my little niece.

Three more calls to go…I bet your next project might be W-5! ha ha ha

My first wip done. I planned to have Buddy’s blanket done before I moved. I’m 8 months late.

I adore rainbow projects! Looks like it is cat approved!

The yarn is very soft! You’re right - W-5 (bear pillow cover) is one of my next projects. I pulled out the pattern and fabric and found the pattern instructions, so now it’s all ready for when I feel like sewing.

Buddy’s blanket looks wonderful and squishy! (and Buddy is very cute :smile_cat:)

Buddy looks so cosy on his blanket, squishy and happy! He looks like a sweetie :smile_cat:

I’ve been working on my WIPGO card. I have 6 spaces left to fill. I’m going to take a few days to come up with any additional WIPs. Otherwise, I’ll fill the spaces with projects I’d like to do. Speaking of which, I have more than enough of those to create another card!

I made a heating bag for my husband. We have one that I received in a swap years ago that he has been using, but it was not as long as he needed to cover his two shoulders and neck (he has arthritis). It’s about 35 " long and 6" wide.I used 5 lbs of rice to fill it. He likes the weight because it keeps his neck supported and takes the tension out of his shoulders.

This was fabric from my stash, and I used rice that was getting a bit old.
