@LovelyMiss - too bad the buffet was cancelled, I’m glad you could reschedule it. Your rice packs look like a great gift, probably very welcome in this cold weather. @Smeddley - that’s a cute little wren. The football pool might have been chaotic, but you did run it, so that’s at least one duck (can we keep one duck in a row?).
Here’s my attempt at being a responsible adult being who is in charge of the food in this house.
Prompt: January Battle - Ducks in a Row Team: Bits and Bobs Project Name: A Trio of Soups Project Link: N/A Brief Description:
Spent one weekend in January making one soup each day, for the family to enjoy throughout the week.
Friday was chicken soup, which was gone by Monday, so I didn’t even manage to catch a picture of a bowl.
Saturday was “orange” vegetable soup, per my daughter’s request. We eat this one with crumbled feta.
Sunday was veggie soup with turkey meatballs. The girls just eat the meatballs from this soup, I sometimes add pasta or rice to mine and then it’s a pretty filling meal. Project Photo (playing with Canva for the collage):
Prompt: Research Project Team: Bits and Bobs Project Name: Swatch All The Colors Project Link: N/A Brief Description: I’m swatching all my watercolors to see exactly what I have and make planning pallettes for various paintings a little easier. The overall project is taking forever because I have approximately 300 colors. Between painting each card, organizing the swatches and looking up paint details like the exact pigment colors for each paint (when available), I’ve already spent over 20 hours and still have about 60 colors to swatch. I couldn’t resist the Mad Libs. XD
Bookstore Babe wanted to make a SUPERHERO themed craft, using or inspired by WOOD. It features a variety of colors including RED and White. Everyone remarked how YUMMY and WITTY it looked when they gazed up on the finished project.
