Brief Description: I run the Student Leadership Council at my school, and for over 10 years I’ve been trying to figure out how to pull off a Blacklight Dance. Today it finally happened! I was able to get lights on Temu (finding lights was the biggest challenge), and came up with a way to hang them (gaffer’s tape to the rescue). Beyond the lights, decorations were simply designs/images/shapes drawn/colored with highlighters on plain white paper. It took a squad of students and I an hour to get everything hung up (and only 30 minutes to take down and pack away). It had a very Disney vibe to it!

I also think you did an excellent job with the origami bookmarks. They’re beautiful! And I love the idea to photocopy your drawing for people to colour in. So fun! The drawing is also too cute

The envelopes with the flowers—so pretty! I especially like the rose one at the forefront; the placement is great! The ATC with the leafy embellishment is so nice! I really like how the embellishment “pops up” against the rest of the card, and the “bubbles” (for lack of a better term) bring attention to the center piece in the card. Really lovely! I remember seeing that ATC in the ATC gallery and I thought it was such a creative interpretation of the prompt(s). I love the clouds, but my favourite part of the card may be the name of the store in the middle, lol! The bowling ball card is really cool, too. I especially love the colours.
@AudiobookLover I love that the red pads remind me of ladybugs, such a fun pattern, and such a useful project. Oh, that sounds frustrating about the sweatshirt-making, but you persevered, and it looks great!

@Inselaeffchen Wow; that window dispaly is really impressive! (both years!). I love the idea of doing displays for people to come by and admire as a way to build community. Our city did something similar during lockdown as well, but no one continued after. Perhaps it’s time to try and get people to do similar things in my area again.

It’s hard to pick a favourite, but I really love that little yellow one and the “piggie tails” on the purple one
Those little book magnets are amazing! I saw something similar to these years ago when I was travelling, but instead of magnets, they were ornaments hanging on a mini-tree at a library. I’ve thought since then that I might want to try making something similar, but never got around to it. Your post has re-inspired me

That book bag with the monster and bird friend… I am in love I especially love that the monster looks like it’s being so gentle with the bird.

Brief Description: My partner wanted this shirt specifically (it’s from a comic book). I made it as a present with my somewhat recently assembled sublimation set-up. Sublimation kind of sucks - it’s finicky as heck and my press has been having inconsistent heat distribution, which quickly ruins projects. You need luck on your side for things to turn out well, or at least I do! I had one shot to make it work with the one white shirt I had, but it turned out great! LUCK! I had to find the image, fix it (upscale, remove background, tune the color), mirror print it, and then heat press it.

Brief Description: A close friend/colleague had a baby and our little group had a sprinkle at one of our meetings. I made the card and challenged myself to ONLY USE WHAT I HAD in my stash. The bear is a little treat bag holder, and the star is one of those wooden shapes that I painted and filled with Glossy Accents (shiny). We weren’t all going to be in one place to sign the card, so I had everyone send me a photo of their message written on white paper, edited the photos, and organized and printed them on the card liner paper. It was cute.

Brief Description: We kept seeing YouTube videos where they were mentioning Greggs sausage rolls, and boy oh boy did it spark a craving. Brief Description: OMG. This project was dreadful. For years I saw this yarn tree kit at the craft store and thought it was so cute. I finally got it with a 50% off coupon thinking it would be a fun afternoon project. I’m certain it was just me being unbearably particular, but this thing took forever. (Trying to get the yarn in smooth layers and flat over the rubber tips, and visually pleasingly wrapped around the trunk and branches, all while hiding yarn ends EVERYWHERE and not wanting them to peak out at all.) I ended up working on it over about a week and estimate (at least 
) eight hours. I kept being mad and wanting to quit, but finished it anyway. It’s not even as cute as I thought it would be, lol! I’m annoyed again just typing all of that out and remembering. I think I’ll end up using it with with my Blythe dolls somehow. It’s about 18" tall.
